Ah, OasisActive. I’ve heard a lot about this dating site and thought it was time to give it a try… only to be left disappointed! Let me tell you why.
First of all, the free features are pretty much non-existent – no messaging allowed unless you pay for their premium membership plan (which is not cheap!). Even if someone does send you an email or message through the app itself, there’s no guarantee that they’ll get read as there’s so many spam messages clogging up your inbox. It can feel like wading through treacle trying to find anything genuine in amongst them all!
The paid version isn’t any better either; while they do offer some unique features such as being able to see who has viewed your profile and ‘winked’ at other users without having actually sent them a message yet – which is kinda cool – but overall its just too expensive compared with similar sites out there on the market right now. Plus, even after paying for access these extra options don’t really add much value when it comes down using OasisActive effectively…and let’s face it: that’s what we’re here for isn’t? To meet people?!
Overall then my experience of Oasis Active wasn’t great; from slow loading times due to server issues causing pages not display properly half way though filling out forms etc., plus poor customer service response times (if any!) when reporting problems/issues via their contact form page means I’m unlikely ever use this again anytime soon – if ever!!
